Killing the Competition
Talk about trouble; Kyra Chase is knee deep in it. She's on assignment in Wright City to find the story behind the previous summer's cocaine scandal. Barely 24 hours after her arrival, a murder occurs and since she and the deceased are from the same city, she becomes a suspect. When a second body shows up a few days later, Sheriff Kevin Johnson believes the killings have everything to do with the reporter's famous father. Against all odds, the city girl falls in love with the sheriff, who finds out falling in love with Kyra is anything but simple.
