Cybernetic Theorists

In this age of DNA computers and artificial intelligence, information is becoming disembodied even as the "bodies" that once carried it vanish into virtuality. Although becoming posthuman can be nightmarish, Hayles shows how it can also be liberating. It is a 'must' book for those in every branch of science . . . in addition, economists, politicians, statesmen, and businessmen cannot afford to overlook cybernetics and its tremendous, even terrifying implications.
